The Public Library's Photography Contest is back with a little twist. This year, we are going to be putting all winning photos in a note card set! All photos still need to be taken in Orrington. We are asking that you label where the photo was taken, along with the title. Information on how to submit your entry can be obtained at the Orrington Public Library. The deadline to submit your photos is JUNE 17. Top 3 winning entries will receive cash prizes-GOOD LUCK!!

SedgeunkeDUCK Regatta

The fourth annual SedgeukneDUCK Regatta will benefit the Orrington Historical Society's missions. Bright yellow rubber duckies can be sponsored for just $10 each at Bob's Kozy Korner Store AND Orrington Town Hall, starting in June. The little critters race in the Sedgeunkedunk Stream from the dam to the Johnson Mill Road tunnel to the finish line. Fans can stay for burgers and hotdogs cooked on the Kozy Korner's grill! All proceeds go to the Orrington Historical Society for the restoration of the Grange Hall.
